Ceilingsurf benefits

CS Platforms with its Ceilingsurf product line offers several compelling advantages over traditional climbing equipment like ladders, mobile scaffoldings or bulky work platforms, making it a superior choice for tradespeople and businesses working at height below 3 meters.

Enhanced Safety

Reduced Risk of Accidents: Traditional ladders and mobile scaffoldings pose a significant risk of falls and injuries. The C-Surf stable base and safety features minimize the risk of accidents, making it a safer alternative.

Ergonomic Design: The ergonomic design of the C-Surf One reduces physical strain and the likelihood of related injuries, compared to the often precarious positioning required when using ladders or ladders in combination with material and tools.

Increased Efficiency

Time-Saving: With its self-propelled nature and easy maneuverability, the C-Surf allows users to complete tasks more quickly than when using a ladder or mobile scaffolding. Its design enables fast setup and mobility and reduces the time and energy spent climbing up and down.

Enhanced Productivity: The C-Surf platform offers a stable work surface that enables effortless work and at the same time more efficient use of tools and materials. This means that tasks can be carried out more effectively and with significantly less effort.

Versatility and Customizability

Modular and Adaptable: Unlike ladders, which offer limited flexibility, the C-Surf One is modular and can be easily adapted to various work environments and tasks. This adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of trades and activities.

Trade-Specific Accessories: The platform can be equipped with trade-specific accessories, enhancing its utility and making it even more tailored to the needs of different users.

Convenience and Portability

Easily Transportable: The C-Surf’s lightweight and compact design makes it easy to transport, carry and store, unlike ladders, mobile scaffoldings and bulky workplatforms that can be cumbersome to move, set up and use.

Assembly by a Single Person: Assembly can easily be carried out by just one or two people, meaning no additional work is required to set up and dismantle the work platform, especially when working between different floors.

Future-Ready

Scope for Automation and Data: With future plans for autonomous drive options and data capture integration, the C-Surf is positioned to offer advanced capabilities that far surpass the static nature of ladders, mobile scaffoldings or bulky work platforms.

Cost-Effectiveness

Return on Investment: While the initial cost is higher than a ladder and mobile scaffolding, the immediate and short-term benefits in safety, efficiency and productivity result in a compelling return on investment, making the C-Surf solution a cost-effective and highly profitable solution in the shortest possible time.

Our Story

CS Platforms is a UK-based construction machinery SME.

Inefficient and unsafe ladders, scaffolding and bulky work platforms pose safety hazards for tradespeople. Conventional elevating and access equipment is cumbersome, prone to causing accidents and difficult to transport. In the UK alone, 10Million workers work at height annually (APPG,2020), resulting in over 400K reported work-related health issues and injuries annually from falls, slips and carrying. The toll for 2023 includes >3.4Million+ lost working days and 66 fatalities. Based on the forementioned the data shows, that employers faced cost impact of £1.9Billion/year. In addition, the UK government was the cost bearer of £2.1Billion/year in workplace injuries and work related ill health, with the NHS incurring £294Million/year in extra expenses due to additional A&E costs and 98K extra bed days annually, threatening the sustainability of the entire industry (HSE,2022/2023).

CS Platforms is developing the first self-propelled, modular mobile work platform for tradespeople and businesses working at heights below 3m.

Compared to competitors, CS Platforms’ solution has a unique combination of modularity and multifunctionality that ladders, scaffoldings and bulky work platforms do not have. C-Surf One’s portability and multifunctionality reduces setup time by 60% and logistical efforts by 70%. The product enables safer, less physically demanding work. Existing elevated work equipment is heavy, prone to accidents and logistically challenging. C-Surf One reduces the risks of accidents by 90%. Other key features include its self-propulsion and automatic lifting capabilities, which are missing from traditional elevated working equipment. This increases the efficiency four times compared to conventional climbing devices in tests.
